100,000 points (public offer)after $6,000 in purchases in the first 3 months
$795annual fee
How it earns
Chase lists 8x on purchases through Chase Travel, 4x on flights and hotels booked direct, 3x on dining worldwide, and 1x on everything else.
Who it fits
- You travel often enough to use the travel credits, lounge access and hotel credits Chase lists. The $795 fee only makes sense if you would pay for most of those things anyway.
- You can spend $6,000 in three months on things you were going to buy regardless.
- You want a Global Entry or TSA PreCheck fee credit: Chase lists one credit of up to $120 every four years, charged to the card.
Who should skip it
- You travel a few times a year at most. A $795 fee is hard to earn back.
- You would have to stretch your spending to reach $6,000 in three months.
- You held this card before. Chase says the bonus may not be available if you previously held it or received a bonus for it.
Worth knowing
Chase's public page shows 100,000 points after $6,000 in purchases in the first three months. The linked referral page could not be verified during this check, so its offer may differ. Confirm the application-page terms.
The advice on this page is general. It does not know your credit history, income or goals. Pay the balance in full each month, since interest costs more than any bonus is worth.
